Welcome, performance, vinyl installation, 2016
collaborated with Alice Kim

The place where Incheon airport was built was the habitat where Black-faced spoonbill once lived. They are endangered migratory bird who has limited habitats over East Asia. Since people didn’t consider nor prepare the alternative territory for migratory creatures, Black-faced spoonbill has lost one of their home.
It was around the time they announced 2nd terminal of airport would be opened soon, which eventually happened in 2018. The project is to indicate this place was once a habitat of Black-faced spoonbill, and to welcome/wait for them to come here again.
